| In this post, we take a very close look at the Arresting Officer’s report(s) and narrative of the April 28th Incident just after the brutal beating. We encourage you to take a very close look at the narrative and the report. And see if you have the same questions as we do. The report is available to download as a PDF form for anyone interested in reviewing it. The real travesty concerning these errors and inconsistencies in the officer’s report is to think NONE of this was ever CHANGED OR CORRECTED anywhere that we can find. |
Upon review of the Arresting Officer’s written narrative, he refers to Ivory Rucker as the (Suspect). Though he also follows this statement that he was patrolling the area and was FLAGGED DOWN by a female staying at the hotel. The female had advised the officer that she didn’t know what was going on, but that it appeared two males may be getting ready to fight another on the second level. The inconsistency is that on the report form where the officer has entered the “Type Of Incident” there is no mention whatsoever of an Assault on Rucker. Instead, the officer has identified the type of incident as “Wanted Person Located.” Moving on to the 3rd page of the report which addresses Byrd and Kendrick, the officer identifies their involvement as “Other.”
If there is anyone out there in law enforcement who can help us to understand why or if this first inconsistency is legitimate, please get in touch with us and let us know.
