We have learned today that Sidney Kendrick, the brother of Georgia State Representative Dar’shun Kendrick was finally arrested TODAY, more than a year-and-a-half after his brutal attack on Ivory on April 28, 2018.
While we are for certain that Angela Rucker’s repeated pleas to the FBI may have had a lot to do with this arrest, we are still in the process of trying to learn more about what prompted the arrest after 20 long months.
Other lingering questions include: why did it take 20 months from the date of the assault for Ivory’s attackers to be arrested and charged with Felony Assault?
Our guess is that it had a lot to do with the exaggerated allegations made by Dar’shun Kendrick against Ivory, which law enforcement took at face value without conducting a thorough investigation.
