Media Inquiries

I am available to speak to any newspapers, television stations, radio stations, bloggers, or other media platforms interested in helping me bring this incident out of the shadows and into the light.   Because I work everyday, it is important that you contact me to schedule a meeting.

The issue I’m attempting to address is crucial, and I believe it to be imperative that the public be made aware of what happened to my brother, NOT ONLY so that HE can get the justice he rightfully deserves as a citizen of the State of Georgia and the United States of America; BUT ALSO so that people in power will be compelled to THINK TWICE, before committing these kinds of egregious injustices against other citizens.  For that reason, I am both excited and anxious to speak to any media outlets.

Below, you will find the text of a press statement that I have prepared.  As updates occur, I will post updated statements that the media is free to download.   For obvious reasons, I am not providing my telephone number.  However,  my contact information is available at this link

Press Statement December 6, 2019 (Download)

I believe that State Representative Dar’shun Kendrick has violated the Color Of Law Statute and I am demanding a full scale investigation.  It is criminal to willfully deprive Ivory of the rights he is afforded under the Constitution.   He may be mentally ill, but he’s a human being, he is a CHILD OF GOD; and moreover, he is one of HER constituents.   Ivory has a right to medical treatment and due process of law.

Until proven otherwise, I will continue to assert that Representative Kendrick abused her power as a State Legislator by obstructing justice — using the authority and influence that the Voters of her district gave her, to keep Ivory incarcerated and keep her former lover, Javaris Byrd and brother, Sidney Kendrick from facing felony charges for the VICIOUS assault on my brother.  Moreover until proven otherwise, I will persist in my belief that she has used her influence as a State Legislator to corrupt the legal community, because every agency or law firm that I have employed or attempted to employ has either abandoned Ivory, or lost interest in his case, when it is painfully clear that his Constitutional rights and his GOD GIVEN HUMAN RIGHTS have been trampled upon by so many actors who were involved in the process of detaining him and pretending to help  me.  At the present time, I am his ONLY advocate.

It is clear from the video that Ivory was assaulted by Javaris Byrd and Sidney Kendrick.  According to the police report, Javaris and Sidney lied to the officers and said they didn’t touch him.  Lying to officers is a felony.  But, when the video was released showing the vicious assault, Dekalb police said they would issue warrants for Javaris and Sidney’s arrest.  That did not happen.  There were no warrants issued, no arrests took place and these men were free to continue their lives, while Ivory was fighting for his life.  Ivory sat in jail and almost died.  He said he felt his brain swell and go down because of the numerous kicks to the head. He got no medical help and was just thrown in a cell without any consideration for his health and welfare.  He wasn’t even taken to Grady, which is standard procedure when dealing with arresting the mentally ill.   The police report is totally contradicted by the video.  It says that there were no witnesses, when in fact there were lots of witnesses.  It says that the men didn’t assault Ivory when in fact they did.  This was done in broad daylight, but no one expected Ivory to have anyone come to his defense.  They didn’t expect to get caught in their lies.  This is collusion and abuse of power and falls under The Color of Law statute.

Ivory has been incarcerated since April of 2018 – YET he has NEVER received due process of law; NEVER been indicted.  His Civil Rights have been violated due to collusion.  I feel that Representative Dar’shun Kendrick, has used her influence to deprive Ivory of a speedy trial by a Jury.  Important paperwork wasn’t filed with the courts even though I had an attorney.  There was always a problem with the paperwork.  I feel other actors – many of them affiliated with the legal system — have helped Dar’shun Kendrick abuse her power by denying Ivory his constitutional right to a trial.

Javaris Byrd and Sidney Kendrick need to be held accountable for what they did to Ivory.  I want all those people that colluded together to obstruct justice by lying on reports and intentionally destroying or manipulating evidence to be held accountable too.  But ABOVE ALL I want Ivory to be safe and home for the Holidays.

I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL MY BROTHER HAS BEEN ABSOLVED OF ALL MS. KENDRICK’S LIBELOUS ALLEGATIONS AGAINST HIM, AND HE IS HOME WHERE HE BELONGS.
