About

We figure that you want to know who is on the other side of the pages of this blog.

“Justice For Ivory” is a blog site that had to be set up on the fly; and for that reason it is still a work in progress. You may come here one day and find one thing; then tomorrow you may see something totally different.

“Justice For Ivory” is based on the nearly 2-years long effort of Angela Rucker to free her 53-year-old baby brother, Ivory Rucker, a mentally ill man who has been incarcerated almost all that time.

The site is written and published on Ivory’s behalf because at this time, he cannot speak for himself.

The blog tells “Angela’s truth” from HER perspective and manifests our determination to control this narrative; because those who are persecuting Ivory know no more about this issue or Ivory OR Angela than they know about justice, Constitutional rights, or human rights. Otherwise, they would behave differently. They pretend to “prosecute” in the name of the law; but they are actually “persecuting” him based on their personal whims, prejudices and presumptions.

We pray that as this blog takes shape, it will move on the altar of your heart, and you will join and become one of us. And as we lift our voices together, Justice will rain down on Ivory, and set him free.
